JOY BUSTRUM, PSY.D.
Dr. Bustrum is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Biola University's Rosemead School of Psychology in La Mirada, California. She received additional postdoctoral training at Patton State Hospital in San Bernardino, California and is currently a candidate at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis, Los Angeles. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bustrum is a Professor of Psychology in the graduate department at Azusa Pacific University.
Raised in Kenya, East Africa, Dr. Bustrum brings a unique sensitivy and perspective to her clinical work around issues of ethnicity, race, and cross-cultrual experiences. Her specialties and areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
